Read My Bookshelf

So, like a lot of you, I’m sure, I have several books on my bookshelves that I haven’t read. In fact, embarrassingly enough, I think that I have more unread books than I have read books on my shelves. In 2017 I want to read a lot more books from my shelves. While I love using my local library and will continue to do so, I pledge to stop buying any more books until I can whittle this list down quite a bit. I also want to note that several of these books were given to me and are therefore books that I might not normally have selected for myself. I am definitely going to give those books a try because I don’t think that people would give to me unless they believe that I would enjoy them. However, if I get 50 or so pages into and I am not enjoying, I will fully be okay giving up on those titles. Those are the ones in green below. The blue titles are ones that I have started before but given up on and hope to try again sometime in 2017.
